Mission & vision

David Faulkner has represented Alabama's House District 46 -including portions of Mountain Brook, Homewood, and Hoover - since 2014. A civil trial attorney with Christian & Small in Birmingham, David brings practical experience in business litigation to his legislative work, where he focuses on strengthening education, fostering economic growth, and protecting Alabama families.

David has authored landmark legislation including the Computer Science Education Act, which made Alabama the first state in the nation to adopt all nine code.org standards, and Lulu's Law, establishing the country's first mandatory shark attack alert system. He serves as Vice Chair of the House Rules Committee and sits on the Judiciary, Insurance, and Ways and Means Education committees.

A father of three, David and his wife Nancy are active members of St. Luke's Church, where he serves as an Acolyte Leader and youth Sunday School teacher.

"My job is to listen, to advocate, and to be a responsive voice for the families of District 46 and all of Alabama."

A Conservative Record. A Forward Vision.
